Custom FPS LIMIT?

Is there a way to set custom FPS limit?

Option gives us 30/45/60/90 etc...

But for Adaptive VSYNC UE games work the best with 62FPS. On my configuration at least.

I tried editing the .ini file, but that has no effect. Game returns to Respawn's predefined FPS Limits not reflecting my .ini changes.

Could you PLEASE update the options and allow us to set FPS Limit to specific number?

Before anyone asks why...

- With Adaptive VSYNC - 60FPS LIMIT is accasionaly loosing VSYNC and shows tearing when UE streams in some data

- 90FPS+ FPS limits are less smooth on 60FPS VSYNC displays

Thx.

  • Yeah, hopefully they introduce a slider rather than set refresh rates. If you haven't already attempted it; use the local save file and temporarily disable the cloud save and go into

    %AppData%\Local\SwGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

which you may have already done, just checking. Also try setting it to read-only after you make said changes.

Your best bet right now is to cap the game at 90, then run something like Rivatuner or PrecisionX and manually cap your game at 62. I'm not super knowledgeable about adaptive vsync, but Nvidia has said for GSync users like myself to cap 2-3 FPS below the target refresh rate in order to get the best results. FWIW, this game feels like it was made for console, if I go over 60+ fps on my 240hz monitor the game starts getting wonky and I start crashing. There's gotta be a PC performance fix due soon.
