Diagonal Analog Input is Too Weak

@SD13_CAGEYou know what this is like? Its like if you ordered a new car from a dealership and they gave you the option of left hand side or right hand side steering wheel. You choose the left hand side steering wheel because you live in a country where that's the standard and it's what you're comfortable with. Then when the car is ready they have you pay for it before you can even take it for a test drive. But when you go to drive off the lot you discover that every time you turn the wheel, the car stops. So you complain to the dealership that they've given you a car that doesn't work. They tell you they'll investigate the matter. A week later they still haven't fixed your car and when you call up the dealership service department, they say it's been marked as solved. But they never fixed it and you still can't drive it, even though you've already paid for it. Meanwhile all the people who selected the right hand side steering wheel are enjoying their cars. What is the customer supposed to do when ripped off like this? You call the dealership and the phone just rings and nobody answers. They've got your money, you can't drive your car because the steering wheel side option you bought doesn't work because they screwed it up, they won't acknowledge it, instead they say they'll investigate, but then you never hear from them again, meanwhile you're out all that money you spent and you don't even have a working car.

@SD13_CAGEThey know it's not fixed, there never was any need to "investigate" in the first place. The Aviator control scheme doesn't work, period. It's demonstrable and obvious. There were a few EA guys like @EA_Charlemagne that admitted they were aware of this legitimate issue, Tom said it was flagged, but for some reason @Straatford87 refused to add it to the list of known technical issues, instead he marked this thread as solved, effectively sweeping it under the rug. And now he's gone silent. It's a coverup.

 If they were really concerned he'd reply and say that after investigating the issue it was determined that it is a problem affecting all controllers on all platforms and must be addressed and so he's added it to the list of known issues and they are working hard to fix the issue, expect to see a patch soon, and we're very sorry the product was released in this broken state and we apologize for ignoring our customers for so long regarding this issue since players who prefer pitch/roll controls couldn't even play the game properly this entire time. It's our top priority!

 Until we get a response like that I'm just gonna keep pestering them, what other choice is there? Its either that, or realise they don't care and I've just gotta bend over and take it up the tail pipe. I'm sure I'll end up in that second state of despair and acceptance long before we ever see an encouraging reply from the elusive @Straatford87 

 Maybe it's not Tom's fault. Maybe he's a good guy who actually wants to help, and there's more to the story that I just don't see. However, with what little I have to go on, and this failure to communicate why it's not on the list of known issues, or why we haven't heard back from them regarding their investigation - I'm at my witt's end. Help me out here. Someone from EA, anyone,  please respond.

 Do you have any idea what it's like to spend every minute, of every day refreshing the page.. hoping for some confirmation as to whether or not the issue that's been keeping you from playing the game you're so hyped up to wanna play - is going to be resolved or not?

 At this point I would be happy to hear a confirmation that you guys have refused to fix it. At least then I could move on with my life. But you've left the matter vague, "we'll investigate", so now I must continually check back every few minutes to see if there's any update on the investigation. I just need some closure on this. Not knowing if there's gonna be any hope, or if it's hopeless is driving me insane.

 I don't even expect a reply at this point, I don't even know why I bother. This is really depressing. Why can't you guys just show a modicum of empathy? Is that too much to ask? Do you enjoy our suffering? Where's the humanity? How do you sleep at night? Is being heartless a prerequisite to working at EA?

To be honest, I just learned to fly with pitch/yaw so I could enjoy the game, but I feel bad for everyone thinking you know... this is supposed to be kind of flight sim..ish, other people buy hotas for it, and turn on aviator controls and then can't quite place what's wrong and just don't fly well, and give up.

Even so, with the default controls, the throttle axis affects the roll axis the same way, when you push the throttle up, you can't roll until you move the stick over quote a bit, it's very annoying, and all you can do is unlearn rolling.. which is fine, there aren't any rudders in this game, but panning around left and right in a dogfight feels sooooooooo wrong.

It's also a little unsettling that the next generation of gamers is going to think flying with FPS centric mouse-like input is normal.  I can't describe my disgust at needing to look for the invert vertical option in an entirely flight oriented game.  Gross.

In order to preserve my sanity, I'm gonna go play some Ace Combat 7, Elite Dangerous, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 right now in order to remind myself what pitch, roll, and yaw are supposed to feel like.

 And I'll actually be able to play with pitch/roll on my left analog stick without issues.. imagine that?

This should have been one of the easiest things to fix but here we are... More than a week after release and still nothing.

@Straatford87 could you please comment on the status of this one? It's another slap in the face for anyone playing with a hotas.
