Summarize your bug Bodies disappear or get cleaned up too quickly. Can you please make it so that they stay till you leave the area? Or at least 3 or 4 of them do. There are 2 issues with this.... 1) It destroys immersion and makes it seem as though you're just defeating pixels rather than real storm troopers. 2) When discovering new enemy types by BD1 scanning them, I have about 30 seconds before the body i wanted to scan disappears. Why should I have to rush to scan them, I want to clear the enemies, observe the environment and scan enemies when I want to.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Defeat an enemy then look at the body, it disappears within about 30 seconds.
What happens when the bug occurs? Immersion of me being in the world is broken completely. I'm reminded the enemy was just an NPC in a game.
What do you expect to see? 3-5 bodies should ideally remain at any given time seeing as most fights in an area are with a small group of similar size. The main point is that after a small battle I want to take my time in the area and look around t my leisure. But I don't want to see enemies i just defeated fade away as it's a constant immersion breaker.
This is a non functional bug. I know it might not seem valid but please take a look at this seriously and see if anything can be done. There are already a couple of other threads I've seen online where others have noticed the same.
In the lead up to the game I watched all go the films and shows to really get immersed in the world. Only to have my immersion broken day 1 when I saw every single body fades away and constantly reminds me it's just a video game.
Thank you for writing it in detail, couldn't have described it better.
The game feels like it was made for 6 year old kids with large enemy groups fading away in a cheap animation in front of your eyes. Though the game is being played mostly by grown ups who are die hard Star Wars fans. Therefore such a ridiculous thing as disappearing bodies should put the internet in rage mode...I wonder why so few people complain about this issue, especially the Star Wars fans. Even my girlfriend laughed about the disappearing enemies and she is not even a HC gamer.
I try to immerse myself into being a Jedi, exploring the galaxy and trying to solve mysteries and follow my important mission, supported by the authentic sound design, licensed music and believable visuals. But after EVERY fight, I get instantly drawn out of the immersion, the bubble of imagination gets destroyed and I am being reminded that I just play a cheap unrealsitic video game which tries to be a wannabe Star Wars experience.
I like to stand there in games, after a hard battle, examining and admiring the enemies who just lost their lives because of me. To show them respect on the one hand, and to look at their maliciously designed outfits or discusting insect bodies or horrific monster appearances. But in this game, they just fade away...like if they were replaceable pixels.
Feels like I am playing on an Arcade from the 80s where the enemies disappeared in a blinking animation. Almost 40 years later and they still disappear?! This is an insult for players of this generation!
I cannot finsih the game like that and will sell it if they don't patch this until the weekend.
