Disappointed about playing with friends

i have had the game pre ordered for months and have arranged for my equally excited friends to come round and play on the release day.

Having done a bit of research I can't see that we'll be able to do anything other than watch each other have a go. The split screen co-op seems limited from the information available. My friends do have X boxes too but there is a certain amount of irony involved in them having to stay at home in order for us to enjoy playing together.

I am open to all suggestions, please tell me how you envisage people getting the most out of playing the game together?

If we had two xboxes at my house what are the options? How can 4 of us enjoy playing together at the same time?

@colinrobinson3 the local split screen mode is only available in offline mode. There is no feature available to play with two players via splits-screen online. We understand that there are players which want to enjoy the online mode while playing split-screen with a friend and will pass your feedback on to the studio.

Dear EA,

Being a serious Starwars fan this is my first exciting game I've played in years the graphics are very cool and because of this I purchased another CD as a christmas present for a freind. However having purchased the PS4 Battlefront game I'm very disappointed by the lack of offline modes. I and the family feel very let down by this. Options only become available in multiplayer which has to be paid for (which we cannot afford to do). We were all looking forward to playing some air combat in various ships but disappointingly only basics in training modes exist.

I hope you will offer these modes to all (perhaps not multi-player) in later free downloadable updates.This is only fair.

If your company is looking to make extra income from the game, then in-game purchases could be offered (like other apps on the market offer) which make extra revenue buy allowing players to purchase extra weapons, shields, powerups etc. that may be used up and have to be renewed from time to time.

Please look into these possibilities and make all of us very happy. Oh one more thing...structured missions would also be something to consider for off-line modes
