Do I Need to Be Online to Play Fallen Order?

Hey everyone! I got this game for Christmas, but I decided to wait to play it, since I was still engrossed in Battlefront 2. Now that BF2 is ending, I have decided that now is a good time to play this game.

However, I was wondering if I needed to be online to play this game. Can anyone answer this for me?

  • I THINK you need to be connected via Origin, but it is a totally offline game. So you'll need an internet connection to start JFO, but your connection speed won't matter past download. Also, it does save your game to the "cloud" but you can disable that within Origin itself. Have fun, it's way prettier than Battlefront II.

The only reason you should have to be online, is to verify the game purchase.  Once they game is verified, you should not need to have online access again.  I know if you use a games service like EA Access, or for PC Origins Access you have to go online every so often to keep reverifying the games access, but don't have to be online to play, is the way it is supposed to work.
