10 years agoDo I really need to RE-download the whole game??
HI, A couple days back, I had to do a clean install of Windows 7 because my computer wouldn't boot any more. Then, I couldn't start SW Battlefront from Origin's app nor from it's folder even though...

Hi @YourFacexx and welcome to Answers HQ
How to install a Origin game using a backup, Battlefield 4 used as an example.
- Save your BF4 backup from “Origin Games\Battlefield 4” somewhere else
- Uninstall BF4 in Origin
- Make sure you have the correct installation directory selected in Origin’s settings
- Start the BF4 download in the new directory for 2 minutes
- Exit Origin
- Copy over the backup, overwriting all files
- Start Origin again
- Look at Origin verifying the files, setting up the changes in the registry and downloading the last files
