no it would only bring more balance issues
and also, the only other fighters would be the TIE Defender, which is a space (air) superiority fighter, and the B-Wing which is an actual bomber unlike the Y-Wing.
If im not mistaken, the B-Wing would be more akin to a A-10. And the Y-Wing, well, i'd say it would more similar to maybe an F-4 with a bomber outfit
The T-70 X-Wing model could be a space superiority option, but it would make the X-Wing obsolete since its meant to be an improvement on the T-65 and would also be OP
Balance Issues, like the TIE Bomber Nerf? I guess adding stuff might cause some issues, but it can be worked out if the devs really wanted to. Right now I am getting bored with just the same 4 Starfighters.
