Dualshock 4 controller registered as a flightstick (Origin)

What were you doing when the bug occurred? Step by Step detail is helpful. Opened the game with ps4 controller plugged in and it was registered as a flightstick. I have the game on origin.
Where did this issue occur? Please include menu name or in game location. Upon opening the game.
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) October 4 and everyday since
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Can play, but it's highly frustrating
What happens when the bug occurs? The Ps4 controller is always registered as a flightstick.
What do you expect to see? The ability for me to use the ps4 controller

  • @SuperTradie101 I've got the exact same problem. I managed to fix it for a little while by installing DS4windows. The game then recognises the controller but it will rapidly alternate between controller and flight stick bindings causing the game to be unplayable.

    Some people have found that installing DS4windows works well for them though so give it a try.
