Star Wars: Battlefront servers might be a bit busy this days with the recent DLC Death Star launch, so it might be just a bad timing for you. In any case, I am sorry, you did not get the best experience possible with Star Wars: Battlefront. Being a huge Star Wars fan myself, I do enjoy hunting some heroes in SW Battlefront from time to time. And I know, how a simple connection issue can just ruin your game.

In any case I will forward your information to the developers for further investigation.

So again after enjoying a different new title on line with no jerky movement and smooth gameplay I again thought I would have a star wars fix and enjoy some of the money paid for early access..

Fingers crossed......

Pointless, turned it off after 1st round of battle station, 1 kill 8 deaths....even though im average at best these stats again came down to jerky laggy play......theres an enemy, shooot...wait where u gone these vehicles don't have cloak capability, oh wait your back....oh no you've gone again, at least I avoided that asteroid....oh wait ive jerked in its path......booom killed by myself again!

Why is it so difficult to just enjoy the game and the finances laid out, there must be a gaming office of fair trading its clearly not fit for purpose!

Last post says servers might be a little busy and bad timing....really, and this before general release....wasnt expecting to be busy then!?!?!

A link was posted to offer help.......what the hell is UTD UPT UTEEDEE or whatever they are called......all I know is my ports are open, my nat TYPE is open, my xbox is hard wired 4 static IP address and my download average is 18mbs and upload 15mbs.....all extra expense with my supplier just to play this title, ive changed regional matchmaking but that was like playing on a spectrum 48k is was that jerky.

I have no issue with any other titles on line, other than Battlefield Hardline but there's a link there with this title.....not bothered about playing that, just want value for money enjoying what was a great title at launch with no lag issues that has since gone down hill since the bespin DLC.

Ive mentioned in numerous previous posts that far too many posts on here are related to poor connection, lag, stutter for it to be peoples hardware.......i even counted them over a 4 week period in August where the seperate posts was approaching 20....but no honest response from developer like we know there's an issue please bare with us while we investigate.....just posting links to troubleshooting that has no relevance or info to fix.

EA have totally taken what should be an iconic title within a universe that has millions of followers to the dark side......

Poor EA, very poor.

    Have been getting this same issue, and only since the Death Star DLC. What is most annoying though is that this doesn't just effect the DS DLC, but also the entire game and previous DLC content that I never had an issue with before. So it is like the net code or whatever has been altered to accommodate the Death Star DLC and somehow has broken the whole game. Now I get that damned white, then yellow and then red connection problem every round no matter what I'm playing, DS DLC or not. It has rendered the game completely unplayable with total locks and hangs. Death Star trench run? Forget about it, not a chance.

    Strangely enough when the latest patch came out I thought the lag issue had been fixed as on that day or two it played smooth as silk, like a totally different game. Oh, how I sung your praises that day, only to find that a week later the problem was back. What gives? Now this isn't just due to a connection problem at my end, as I have a good internet connection, and never had any issues before the latest DLC, plus there seem to be quite a few people suffering from this problem, though it doesn't seem to be everyone, but it is certainly a good enough number that it needs to be addressed ASAP as the game is essentially rendered unplayable by this bug. Forget Rogue One Scarrif, this should be your top priority, as you'll have many many unhappy campers if the game they have spent their hard earned dollar on has been rendered useless and unplayable due to a DLC bug.

      I've pretty much given up, not touched the title for weeks if not over a month.

      It's a disgrace that so much noise is made about the same / similar issues acros's numerous message boards from hoards of users yet nothing from the developer to let THEIR customers know what is happening to resolve it.

      I've endeavoured for months to remain engaged with the game in the hope the death star dlc would fix the clear connection issues.....but nope and the only feedback u get is a link to a technical page that pretty much needs your supplier to get involved to apparently fix it.......funny that cos every other game works perfectly fine online! Go figure

      I cracked and purchased fifa 17 when I said I wouldn't but only played offline bcos I can't be arsed with EA should it be anything less than perfect.

      You failed the customer, industry and star wars EA......shocking.
