ea server unavailable FIX for PC
Hi, would like to share a fix that resolve the problem of connection I was having with EA servers on Star Wars Battlefront for PC.
So, it all started 2 weeks ago, my game suddenly stopped working, I was always getting the follow message "EA server are unavailable, try again later"
I tried contact the support, they tried to help, with some troubleshooting guides. I tried it all, none had solved my problem.
So I was almost given up and start to think it was here on my PC, so I started to test another games not related to EA, I installed a bunch, and
at GTA V I got the same kind of error, servers unavailable. Its was confirmed, its was my PC. Browsing the net I found a fix for GTA,
and I tried the follow procedure:
At windows 7/8 or 10, I`m using win10.
Open the command prompt as admin and type the fallow command
- netsh then hit enter
- you will get netsh>
- after type: winsock reset
and hit enter
a message will appear saying to restart the computer, just restart your system
so stays like this:
C:\WINDOWS\system32>netsh
netsh>winsock reset
What that will do, it will reset most of the network configs and parameters on your system to default settings. the strange side of it, is that my custom settings of IP and DNS
at the network adapters configuration, also firewall and services was not changed. But something else was. The computer is the same no changes on programs,
or windows functionality. But the both games started to work again!
So if you encounter a similar problem and any of the troubleshooting do not resolve your issue, just tri that! It will work at 1st try! even for no EA related games.
I hope that help you, and good game/job to you all.
