OP - You should be ashamed of this post. Your grammar and spelling is atrocious. How is a Star Wars game a Call of Duty knock-off? Have you tried Walker Assault or Turning Point? Both of those gametypes are pretty solid. I'm pretty sure The "Free DLC to include more Fighter Squadron where you battle ground forces" exists... It's called Supremacy, or Walker Assault, or Turning Point. I mean, you can hop into a fighter in those and strafe poor, unsuspecting infantry there, no?
DannikJerriko, yes I know I was harsh in my original post. I do recommend the game, I love Fighter Squadron! it has "great potential" in the future if it doesn't loose momentum. I said that in my previous post. Please try to keep up if you're going to bless me with your bombing opinions. First off attacking my grammar and spelling is not even in the same zip code as my point (which really voids your whole input anyways as a ranter). ...but...
The COD knock-off reference was in respect to the 1st person shooter genre of gaming in general. I was eluding to, As a first person shooter starwars battlefront is not a top contender. If you don't accept what I am saying read some reviews on the game from people whom you may feel are more valid to speak on the subject than I:

No Walker Assault etc you mentioned is not vehicle based. It is 1st person shooter based, with the potential to find a token that one can acquire a vehicle. I mentioned that in my original post as well. Did you even read it before flaming me. Absorb what I am saying not what I am writing young Jedi. I want DLC where I start with/in a vehicle. not run around seeking a token against 40 other people seeking the same tokens. It happens all too rarely. For example I have never got a snow speeder or an xwing token yet. That makes me cranky when all I want to do is bring down an AT-AT on plant Hoth. I want to be a pilot not a foot soldier.
Happy New Year. Thank you for the comment / post btw. You're right it is all solid from a certain point of view. Just Try to have an open mind to what I am saying: "IF" the best of the best came together to make this game (which really they did, right) in conjunction with the re-awakening of the Star Wars franchise (full support from Disney and Lucas Films in terms of content donated to the game developers [DICE]) it could have been a lot better. That was all I was getting at. No story line even. EA had a big responsibility to the Star Wars community on this one. Bigger than other game titles of the same license. This is huge. If you can't see what I am saying and if I stand alone on this, I feel worried for the future of excellence as it relates to the consumer expectations -vs- spending, because EA wants another $69.99 from you for the next 4 expansion packs to give the game what people originally thought they were purchasing (well, minus Beta weekend which I thought was just that - BETA - nope - that was it). :-(
P.s. SPOILER ALERT: Did you know that Mark Hamill (aka Luke Skywalker) doesn't even have a single line of dialog in The Force Awakens - this is what I am talking about on the bigger picture. The franchise has "awakened" and its hungry for money. Fasten your seat belt. Gold leader this is red 7 standing by.

Oh I see what you're saying there. Sometimes it is a grind to get those vehicle tokens, especially the AT-ATs, but then again, it's all part of the gametype. The graphics on the game are pretty solid, and the gameplay isn't terrible... but where I feel that the game falls short is the lack of upkeep and maintenance on EA's side. There have been several bugs that are glaring that have gone unfixed (see the "Playing the Objective" trophy as an example), and EA has been fairly silent on these issues. I have played plenty of FPS myself, and when I bought this Battlefront, I wasn't anticipating a good FPS, I was anticipating "immersion into the greatest galactic saga of all time." That's what I got. Are there things I would change about this game? Absolutely. Are there things that should be fixed? Yessir. If I want to spill blood, would I go play a more interactive FPS? Probably. I bought this game for SW, not because it was a FPS. I think that's where your opinion and mine differ. Enjoy your holiday bud. Have a good one, and May the Force Be With You.

Competing with 39 other players to grab a hotcakes vehicle token sucks.
Even been times when I've been shot immediately AFTER I got the token. FFS
Paid $160.00 for a "lottery chance" at finding the Millenium Falcon tonight.
When you finally get it... 2 minutes later the game ends!!
It's so PATHETIC you wouldn't be wrong if you called it false-advertising.

Don't forget the complete LACK of policing the servers for cheating/mods. EA really stands for Extreme A**peckers. When you make a game that has next to no single player mode, you MUST weed out the mods and cheats.

- pc? are there cheats on the xbox live servers too?
it does feel like some of the FPS players load/recharge thier bows and jetpack much faster than i can. but idk.
* another side note: none of the star cards or perks apply to fighter squadron game play. i wish the expasion packs would make the fighter squadron component of the game more prodominate.
