Error ce-34878-0 PS4

I had the same problem after having played the game for many hours.  Uninstall/reinstall did nothing to help.

However, in my case, I noticed it was always happening during the load of the saved game.  I saw there was a backup for the saved game, so I deleted the main save file, and the game then automatically used the backup instead and thankfully it actually worked!  Hope that can help if anyone else's issue may be related to their most recent save.

Thanks for this information. I'm uploading all my saved game files to the cloud to see if I can save it from being erased before I try this. I'm tired of this game crashing and I'm not getting to enjoy it.

I'm so sick of the error code on this game. I have done everything to get it to work, and nothing works. I am at my wits end of trying to get in touch with PlayStation or someone who can help resolve this issue. The game doesn't even get past the opening credits before it crashes. At this point there's is no answer to how to fix this problem. Even Initializing my PS4 didn't solve the problem. 🤷🏼‍♀️
