Try repairing it. Under the settings icon when your about to play the game in the Origin client you will see repair.

After a week of being down, my error 721 no connection on the PC is fixed.  My Barracuda Web Filter appliance was blocking required EA Battlefront 2 server https://swbf2-cgw.ops.dice.se which i find out NOW that it is required to connect to the online servers.  It has nothing to do with DNS servers.  I've had Google's free DNS servers for years.  Check if that domain is blocked on anything you're using for security.
