Fallen Order - Import save game from PS4

Just checking; are you trying to move the PS4 save files from a PS4 console onto the PS4 version of the game on a PS5, or the actual PS5 version of the game as well?

thanks for your reply. I am trying to transfer a ps4 save to the ps5 game. According to what I read there should be an option to import a ps4 save. But it never appeared for me.

No, the game has to support it and according to the link it does. For some reason it does not seem to recognize my PS4 saves thougjh and I never get the import dialog. So my question is whether it is not possible anymore or what the requirements are.

You will be able to transfer your save file over from the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 versions of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order to Xbox Series X|S or PlayStation 5.

• On Playstation 5, ensure your console has the PS4 save data on system storage (either from previous PS4 version playtime on the console, download from Cloud storage, or transfer via USB stick).  From there, there will be a “Import PS4 System Save Data” prompt on the start-up screen.  Simply select that option and you will be able to utilize your older save data.

thanks for your reply. I don' think I have a choice where to put the PS4 save data. It is always installed on the internal ssd. I can load my save with the PS4 version of the game on the PS5 without problems, but I do not get the option to import it in the PS5 version at all. And I wonder why that is? Is the EU version not compatible with it, that is the one that is installed when I choose to install the PS4 version on the PS5 (CUSA12529)
