Feature request- Astromechs

Nice idea, but definitely hard to implement without ruining the balance. New Republic is still a bit OP (ok, maybe not OP, they're just easier to play for more ppl),  and boosting them even more would be an overkill. The only option to keep it balanced is to bend the canon a bit and give Imperials some equivalent -  let's say "TIE On-Board AI" (name it whatever) doing a similar job as the droids. As much as I like the idea of refreshing current metas with new interesting equipment, such modification of the game mechanics would need really intense beta testing to avoid game-breakers. 

And still, one technical issue arises- additional button will be required to activate droid's/AI's ability. For, me, PC player with HOTAS  - no problem, I still have plenty of unused buttons. But for console players with a limited number of controls under their fingers it may not be so easy.
