To be fair this should only be available after the first playthrough, so noone misses anything important 🙂 or a config option that has to be enabled manually

I really Think this game needs this - as you say, maybe by enabling it in options or by holding Down a Button, like the most Games on Console have...
But please give us all the Chance to replay this game much often :D

Well, the game is linear......as in, play once and move on, having a skip cutscene button is kinda pointless, since once you complete the story, there is no reason to keep playing.

Hm in general probably thats the case, but to everyone interested in speedrunning this is far from true, replaying a LOT of times is kind of the point 😉

There are likely plenty of people like me who considered GM a bit too much for a first playthrough...

Ya... those cutscenes add a lot to the replay. We know the story, it's awesome, but just having the option to skip would be pretty sweet 🙂

This NEEDS to be added. It is actually insane that this isn't a part of the game. Especially considering you can do a new game+ run that acknowledges you have already beaten the game, but then it forces you to watch what totals up to probably a couple HOURS of ingame cutscenes / manditory dialogue sequences, if not more.
I am currently playing a new game plus playthrough for the first time, but I am considering putting it down because it adds a lot of extra fat to what I was hoping would be a streamlined second playthrough. I am certainly not going to do more playthroughs after this, when, if there was a way to skip the cutscenes, i certainly would have. - n3on3on3o3 years agoNot applicable
24 people already with this problem, YET Respawn (that Vince Zampella guy) appears to be stubbornly refusing to add such a simple feature?? Wtf? Well, at least ONE specific anti-EA petition had reached over 200.000 signatures, how epic!!! xDDD https://www.change.org/p/lucasfilm-revoke-ea-s-star-wars-license
Please sign my new petition (anonymously, I don't mind), thanks: https://www.change.org/p/add-a-very-highly-requested-skip-cutscenes-feature-to-jedi-fallen-order-and-survivor

Not even, it's up to the player if he/she will stand the cutscenes or not. At least, if there is some really importan info in a particular cutscene then make THAT cutscene non skippable but keep the rest skippable.
