Pedals for yaw, anyone?

Curious if anyone is planning on using pedals for yaw on PC (assuming that's possible, but I think the controller-bindings control is pretty extensive)? What pedals do you currently use for sims? I'm thinking of watching for any deals on pedals over the next couple months.

  • @SuperSmash88 Yeah im planning on that too, but im building a diy pedal because they're too expensive where I live, but idk if its going to be a good idea, we'll have to wait and see.

That's awesome! Is there a tutorial you're following? Or just working on your own design?

  • I just ordered a Thrustmaster T16000M flight pack (includes pedals, flight stick, and throttle) to use with the virtual reality space/air combat games I'm looking forward to playing soon.  With both virtual reality and the HOTAS setup, I'm thinking it should be quite immersive if the VR support is good quality.  Got mine for $245 on Amazon (they are sold out last I checked).

@SuperSmash88 You guys taking things to the next level, I would struggle using a standard controller or kb/m haha

It is awesome to see the setups people are using or plan to use, I love it.

Don't forget your starwars outfit! 🙂
  • Absolutely. I have tried out several different pedals and found that they are very intuitive and beneficial. I am currently using VKB T-Rudders Mk.IV

  • My pedals died recently.  Several years of over use.  So I will just be sticking with Twist to Yaw in my X56 for the time being.

Will definitely get back on the pedals soon though.

I can fly this thing ok with mouse and keyboard, but will emulate a Xbox controller and plug my Saitek rudder, because with yaw bind to keys is the worse BF experiencie in all titles.
