10 years agofps issues on PC
Hello Community! Hope you can help me out. ive got some really ugly stuttering an frame drops recently and dont know how to fix them! gtx970 i54460 8gb ram the strange thing is that i never got...
Do you have Origin In-game enabled? If so, try disabling this and see if it helps with your stuttering. Also, do you have any other Overlay programs running?
Hello Tony thanks for the quick answer!
yes, i closed origin and even many programms in the background.
It weird because even if i change the settings to low the stutter remains
I had this issue a couple of days ago. Until now, I don't know what happened.
Thinks I did to solve: had to reinstall drivers (using first DDU to complete unistall), reset bios (cmos), clean graphic card contacts with electronic contact cleaner, disconnect every device inside pc (HDD, DVD, including all power cables) and then reconnect all over again.
I don't know which of them solved this issue. It was really weird!
Because all bios configuration return to default values.
When you close Origin, how do you go about this? Do you only click the "X" in the top-right corner? Or do you do a full Exit?
When you just hit the "X" all it does is minimizes the Client to the part of the taskbar where you see your volume, internet connection, etc. You do a full exit from clicking "Origin" in the top-left corner of the Client and selecting "Exit". You would launch the game before doing this. However, you dont need to. Try disabling Origin In-game, as this is an overlay that is known to cause alot of "Stuttering". See steps outlined below to disable Origin In-game and see if this helps with your issue.
To disable Origin In-Game, follow these steps:
1. Open your Origin Client
2. Click "Origin" in the left corner, and click "Application Settings"
3. Click "Origin In Game" on the left side of the window
4. Un-check the box next to "Enable Origin In Game"
5. Boom...Done
Post back and let me know if this helped with your stuttering or not.
