Game Crashed (STEAM) Now all my data is gone

Hi everyone,

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was just joining a game with a friend when my game suddenly crashed whilst loading into the map (this is the first time this has ever happened from 55 hours play)

Now when I start the game it's as if I'm playing the game for the first time - I'm worried I've lost all my progress.

I have tried loading the game from my Laptop and the same thing happens.

Is anybody able to assist me please.

    Have just spoken to EA online support.

    There is no fix for what happened to me. 

    I also asked if i could be credited in glory points for some unlocked - that could not be done. 

    I will have to start again.

    Hey, @JamesFC3S  make sure that all drivers for windows are up to date, also worth to reinstall the GPU drivers for your PC.

     

    You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Star Wars: Squadrons and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.

     

    Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?

    It seems the new patch has actually fixed the game! Im back at lvl 36 with all content 🙂 

    PS all drivers etc were all up to date 🙂

    Just had this happen to me - i have similar specs

    i8700k 32g RAM + 1080TI

    Completed story pilot vet and was working through ace - got to mission 12 and hard-crash on launch scene (about the 4th hard crash + 3 CTD's)

    Everything wiped

    i'm at 70 hrs ...have already experienced rubbish like this with a certain dino survival type game - binning 500 hrs of play.

    Will submit a ticket to EA but

    maybe in the morning when i'm not FUMING
