game crashes when toggle vr

as the title say the game runs, as soon as i toggle into vr the game crashes and im back to the desktop. i have a rift s. any suggestions?

    @EA_Atic Not at all. Everything works minus the deadzone issue with HOTAS and the fuzzy stars in background. seriously cannot express how all inspiring it is to sit inside a cockpit in VR. I'm 43. I was in high school when x wing came out and it was a big deal. If anybody would have told me this is where we would be today, I would not have believed them

    When I try to activate VR in Star Wars Squadrons with my Rift S the game crashes to desktop.

    I tried that but it didn't work the game is still closes when I press the toggle VR button

    I have same issue. When I hit the "toggle VR" button, It loads my Oculus software and crashes to desktop. Everytime.

    I have tried windowed.. I have tried Borderless.. Same thing. Just closes the game with no error.

    Origin, Oculus Rift S - 1080ti 456.55 - win 10

    for what its worth, im still getting alot of crashes when toggling to vr and when tutoriel messages pop up in game.
