Try a clean install of the video driver and monitor temps , set the 2080 to debug mode too - see link
Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost.
this appears to indicate the video driver crashed
I am playing with a i7 9900k and a 2080 and haven't crashed yet, not that it helps you
- @proxos666 Do I need to keep my 2080 in debug mode? Or for how long?
@MechEmaster if you post your dxdiag we will have more info and also maybe see if there is something causing the video driver to crash.
