Game crashing to desktop

I can play for about an hour and the game just crashes to desktop with no error. task manager says its not responding. Got this though:

The required buffer size is greater than the buffer size passed to the Collect function of the "C:\Windows\System32\perfts.dll" Extensible Counter DLL for the "LSM" service. The given buffer size was 24560 and the required size was 35984.

    @RavenousMedicine 

    You can try this:

    Open command prompt and run as administrator

    Go to C:\Windows\system32> and run the command Lodctr /R
    C:\Windows\system32>Lodctr /R


    Then go to C:\Windows\SysWOW64 and run the same command
    C:\Windows\SysWOW64>Lodctr /R

    exit

    See if that fixes the issue you mentioned. Not sure if its really related to the game crashing tho but worth getting it fixed anyways.
