Does anyone knows how to leave origin lake? I'm stuck there as well... 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

I am actually against a fast travel option. I don't mind backtracking or spending time traversing the environment because from what I've seen, the environments are designed to make them quickly traversable if needed.
That said, people getting stuck shouldn't happen and that needs to be fixed. The game should have the capability to determine if the player is stuck/glitched in the environment and respawn them close by.
Or how about a compromise: what if you could chose before respawning after death to spawn at the last Shrine meditated at or the one before that?
If you're stuck due to a bug, you can die and take a bigger step back.
Or, you know, an option to restart at last save point. Or the autosaves having three redundancies.
There are a lot of ways to circumvent possible bugs without compromising the level design and the intention of not having fast travel.
I don't mind it, that's all I can say. If fast travel were available, I would still use it, but I think it would take away from exploring every nook and cranny.
But I don't think geometry glitches and progression bugs justify a general fast travel system.

Traveling is painful and boring in this game - every planet is a maze with re-spawning enemies and you'll spend more time trying to figure where you are than exploring. But, like other people said, without it the game would become very short (and probably many people will feel robbed).
- 6 years ago@Almahnsor but if Fast Travel was added they could just... you know... not use it? It's not like they would be forced if it was an option.
That's what I find so funny about all these people "against" it... it literally has no effect on them at all.
