One of the things in the Mass Effect, KOTOR, and Fable games that I really enjoyed (and thought these games did particularly well with) was the option to make a male or female character. Can this be an option in this game? I know it may be a little late in game production to include this on release, but a patch down the road that allowed this would be awesome.

Well i was going to preorder this but after all the flak from the wife about "what no female?" guess i wont. She was so excited for a single player game...now....well if i play it will be when she is not home.

You should maybe be prepared for a let down.
I'm just happy EA are actually getting off their collective butts and doing "something" more with the Star Wars license. The upside is when that comes to an end hopefully a more reputable publisher will pick up the rights and run with it

I mean, overall, i wouldn't care if the protagonist of this game was a woman....i really wouldn't care, not sure why some women have a problem with the character being a man, i guess they are the man hating type of women?
Anyway, i would never tell my other half what she could and couldn't do just because i didn't like it and i wouldn't let her dislike of something prevent me from buying it and playing it....if she made that much of a deal about it, it would show me her true character.
I would prefer the option of being male or female in these type of games, but its not a deal breaker to be just a male or a female.
