Game Won't Launch Past Easy Anti-Cheat

I bought the game yesterday on the Epic Games Store. Went through the download/install, and to my annoyance, the game will not launch. I have already tried reinstalling, repairing via Origin, all my drivers are up to date. What can I do to fix this? I want to play the game, but I am close to getting a refund.

    Ok.

    There is "conflict" between Webroot and Easy Anti-Cheat.
    Each time this issue occurs we have to wait a patch but with the christmas break we don't know when it will happen...

    Well that stinks. This is the only game that with EAC that will not launch. Thanks for the help.
