Games won't connect to my ea account

I bought SW battlefront 2 and dragon age inquisition yesterday. Neither of them will connect to an ea account, but the game doesn't even ask for my details to log in - it simply says this account does not meet minimum requirements.

Ea have been less than useless with this. I spent 5 hours yesterday on the phone to three advisors. They kept sending me a useless link to read which simply tells you that you will be prompted to log in by the game. But my issue is they don't prompt me! I then got told to ring playstation as it must be a problem their end. However, playstation confirmed there were no problems with my PSN account. When I finally rang ea again, the advisor kept ignoring what I was saying, putting me on hold and then sheepishly started telling me the reason I couldn't log in was because the servers are down and that one of the other advisors should have told me. I beleive this was just a tactic to get me off the phone as they didn't know why this was happening.

Does anyone have any advice on how I can manually link my ea account to my PSN account when the game doesn't prompt me to do it? Otherwise I've paid for a game that I can't play online.

    Hi @SAW1647

Sorry for the late reply and all the troubles while contacting our live support.

Have you tried connecting your EA and PSN account via EA Help website? When you're logging into your account on EA Help, you will be given the option to log in using your PSN ID - please check it out 🙂

You can find more information about linking console accounts to EA account in this article.

Fingers crossed it will work 🤞 Let me know if you'll encounter more troubles.
