"I cant ask for a refund of the last 5 months of my life back but you guys should know this game is not worth the time."
I'm of the opposite opinion!
For me personaly the campaign alone would have been worth 40 Bucks - and you get two multiplayer modes (one playable vs AI as well) on top...
And you can experiance this all in amazing VR - I love the game.
To me it was worth every penny - would have bought it for 60 Bucks as well (but than I'd have complained campaign was to short :P)
2 mulitplayer modes with 7 maps is hardly a complete game. Also the single player campaign was boring and uninspired. The game A.I. was hardly a challenge.
Balancing issues have yet to be solved but is constantly being tweaked. Match making is a Joke and it seems that only a handful of devoted players still participate in games. Always the same names, but the over all player count is pretty low at this point. I do not expect people to stick with this game for long, after purchase. I guarantee if you compare how many sales of the game to the overall player base is completely wonky.
I really wanted to enjoy this game. I honestly think I held out for a while before I had enough. Well done boys for the effort to make this game, just don't release your products until they are actually finished.

Because many played it like me - as a single player game. And reviews have been very positive as well.

There are many games out there this would be a justified demand. In my opinion Squadrons isn't among them.
73% positive steam reviews and a metascrore of 79 imply that most people out there see it as a good game.

I played BFII from release date until Oct last year when I got Squadrons. I've not stopped playing Squadrons since.
It's my personal favourite game ever, and the feeling of being in an Alliance cockpit in VR is unmatchable; then the B-wing came out and I thought I had died and gone to Heaven, a childhood dream come true (the B-wing, not dying 😉 ).
True, the matchmaking is slow and then I am placed against God Tier players who rinse me, but I don't care (and I've only ever quit once - because of poor connection).
I'm slowly getting better, playing the campaign on Ace difficulty prepares you for the hardships of MP, and I think the hight learning curve is going to give this game a longer life than many suppose.
I wish I could find more FB vs AI Coop battles, but other than that I can't complain.
