    Thank you for the response. Shortly after posting this thread I looked around for more solutions. Someone suggested opening a file with administrative requirements while the intro screen was open. This magically worked. I will try your solution nonetheless so I don't have to keep doing that.

@Papachips thanks for keeping us updated, it would be indeed god to know what you have exactly done to temporarily fix your issue.

While I was on the title page I alt-tab to file explorer and tried to open a folder that needs admin permission. It was another user's folder on the PC. It doesn't matter wether who continue or cancel the message, you just need it to pop up.

    Hi,

    This did not work for me. I bought 3 copies of this game so my 2 sons and I could play together over Christmas break. Well I have spent 2 days researching and trying many suggestions I have found on the web.

    No Luck.

    Although I have found out that there are MANY people with the same problem.

    I am frustrated. I am tired of listening to my kids whine. I now have them taking turns playing this game on the one PC it works on. My Alienware X51. THe problem PC is an Alienware laptop with an AMD Radeon GPU.

    I have updated drivers.

    I have uninstalled and re installed both Origin and Battlefront after updating drivers. I tried this guys crazy solution.

    EA please do something about this.

      Hi i have the same i bought the game yesterday and spend evening trying to fix the game but nothing worked i get a error saying intel drivers update but i use my nvdia crad not intel when I enter the game anyway i can't get pass the menu it says press enter but when i press it nothing happens (sorry for my bad english im from the netherlands)

      Good Morning,

      Well I bought a Wired XBOX 360 Controler 

      THAT WORKED !!!!

      If I alt tab back and forth the keyboard and mouse works !!!!

      But...

      Now Star Wars Battlefront cannot see that I am connected to the internet!!!!!

      Seriously? I just downloaded it through Origin. I am typing this now. What the heck is going on????

      Guess what EA. PC Gaming is NOT dead and we would appreciate some support.

        Hi Again,

        I was told I cannot connect because my son's account is a "Child Account".

        I tried clicking the link in the verification email I got from EA and I got this:

        Email Verification

        Ah, it seems something went wrong, and we could not verify your email. Please try again!

        I cannot edit my child's settings.

        He cannot play online with me.

        Support is supposed to call me back.That was at 1:40PM EST.
