Totally sympathise with you. Pre ordered the game for my son and he counted done the days until launch like waiting for Christmas. Massive disappointment when unable to access online features. Had the same experience including X Box Support and EA Support confusion, but you will try anything when your kid is left devastated after weeks of anticipation. Agree with your general points on game suitability (my son is also 11). Don't feel there is anything in this Star Wars Game which is a particular issue for this age group. The only remedy seems to be letting him use an adult account which actually removes parental control. Also achievements and history will not be "his" exactly. As you say there most be loads of kids in this position.

On the one hand I'm glad I'm not the only one to have experienced this problem, but on the other hand I'm sorry to hear about your son's disappointment too.
