homing shot and pulse cannon ruining game

The pulse canon is good as it is. The CD is enough too and for those who constantly camp around and snipe don't really help their team. The game is based on teamwork and if all they do is hang around atop something. They're only useful every 15 seconds. I sometimes snipe too and I miss a lot so it's not so easy to hit someone so faraway, just keep moving. I also use my 2nd hand to snipe out campers who do this and then they won't go back cause they know someone knows about their spot.

As for the homing dudes, yea that's a bit stupid how this weapon works. It should definitely need a longer lock-on time in my opinion. Sometimes I see some guy pop out I'm shooting him, but he's got enough time to lock-on and shoot me and we both die. They should surely increase the lock-on time and if you get hit, the lock-on should get cancelled.

The pulse cannon is not ruining the game, it is an effective tool that every player should use to provide long-range control of the map. The homing shot however, has a very low lock-on timer making it less of a skill tool, if they increased the lock-on timer for the homing shot it would effectively reduce the use of the weapon.

Well Aussie, The weapon is now useless. And it has screwed up the game for the guys that had fun using it. It doesn't take a Stanford Grad to know how to avoid it.  If you just use your head and pay attention to where it is coming from you can hide from it, then return fire, unless you're running across an open field thinking you will thinking you will take someone out who can see you coming a mile away, then you deserve to get nailed. But then you will get killed by almost anything, other guys with long range rifles like the 21B, or any of the walkers and other stuff, even a proximity mine.  Why is this such a problem for people? ALL of your combat based gamed have these weapons, Homing Missiles, RPG's, grenade launchers and sniper rifles. From Warhawk, COD, even GTA5. These weapons are part of all of these games. And we've all learned to play with them. The weapon didn't ruin the game, the inept players. And now we have a game that a lot of players are ready to give up on. The upside is that this nerfing of the homing shot has gotten a lot of attention, and a lot of players are mad at the results rendering it useless. And people are letting it be known. I would think that EA/DICE are paying attention and will return it to its original settings soon or loose a lot of players and server traffic.

Are you a noob which just cannot duck behind something as everyone else could or a hacker who hated the only cards which could kill you even your cheating? I dont see a 3rd option here.
