Homing shot was overpowered. Which was why whenever you ever popped you head out in the open you would get like 3 locks on you. Now you don't use it while in the air with jump pack and in short range situations like people did before and it really needed that. It simply ruined the flow of many matches where people just constantly shot homing shots from range at each other. I'm not saying it can't be changed further, it feels like they have probably nerfed it too much, especially since it doesn't seem to hit when you finally get it fired because it's so slow, but it's definitely better than it was before.
everybody had their own weapons that they got really good at and probably used way too much in a cheap way. thats half the fun. I loved the homing shot. But now its so terrible i lose every game if I use it. They nerfed it way too much, its sad.
