I was able to fix it by disconnecting my throttle and binding it to my stick. After that I reconnected it and everything works perfectly.
FIX!!! Sort of a work around, or a hard reset.
Start game with HOTAS plugged in.
In game, unplug your HOTAS.
Exit game.
Start game.
Exit game again.
Plugin Hotas. Inputs work proper.
Don't ask how, it just did work.
Soo, I fixed half of my problems.
My throttle still isn't working.
Have the game on origin instead of steam.
With a big picture steam overlay over origin (make sure squadrons has origin overlay off)
Unplug and plug as suggested earlier makes the "main part" work.
- add origin as program on steam to do this.
That fixed 70% of my problem.
I mapped the throttle to my shuffle I have extra so I could use it as a throttle. But my throttle extension isn't working, disconnect, connect, steam overlay nothing.
That also makes me mis about 7 buttons I could map. I still have a virtual option I found on reddit, vJoy and Joystick Gremlin.
Keep you guys posted, pretty sad there is not an official easy update fix and that we have to do stuff like this to make it properly work. Had the same with using a ps4 controller for fifa, ea just get your act together...
