I was able to fix it by disconnecting my throttle and binding it to my stick. After that I reconnected it and everything works perfectly.

What were you doing when the bug occurred? I've gone through and bound all my controls to my X56 HOTAS in the menu but when I try play the game the bindings don't work. I've tried deleting my profile files and clearing the bindings then rebinding my HOTAS controls but nothing works.

What happens when the bug occurs? I can bind everything (menu accepts inputs and says things are bound) but none of my bindings work. This includes throttle, pitch, yaw, roll and all other bindings.
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to bind axes and buttons on my HOTAS and for them to work.

Flight stick bindings don't work. No matter what I try, despite the menus showing my bindings they just don't work in game (hanger or flight). I have the latest X56 HOTAS drivers installed. For the first time I played they worked but don't anymore. Have also tried unplugging HOTAS, plugging it in again and restarting Squadrons. Makes no difference. Even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but the settings are stored in my profile and automatically get downloaded when I reinstall.
