Please explain 'Other' All of it
What were you doing when the bug occurred? Step by Step detail is helpful. Axis controls all kinds of screwed up/ lack of real axis inputs
Where did this issue occur? Please include menu name or in game location. yes. just yes. whole damned game
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 10/2/2020
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Can't play
What happens when the bug occurs? No real axis control. "negative" and "positive" axis is nonsense it's a slider on a flight stick no way to properly set up. neutral position for flight control results in ship spinning in all kinds of directions uncontrollably. Flight axis either do not respond, do not return to zero, set random arbitrary values, but never the same twice. Can not simply define an axis
What do you expect to see? Single axis for single value. Ability to define and set a zero for axis. Ability to actually assign full axis to controls. Using Thrust master warthog hotas and throttle thrustmaster pendlum peddals
Which ship were you playing? If not applicable, just answer "no" or "none." tie fighter
What components were you using? flight
Which customizations (if any) were you using? none
A positive (increase) and negative (decrease) axis for a control as seperate inputs is nonsense. This is not how any flight controler has worked for well over twenty years, these systems are analog inputs not digital. the inability to define a zero results in the ship deciding to spin in what ever direction it pleases with no rhyme or reason. Pendulum pedals do not use a negative for their inputs it is either 100% deflection (full left) 50% (centered) or 0% (full right) meaning as i have to define both a negative and positive axis for this game you can not apply a right rudder control. I ended up having to use my toe breaks and they were either on or off as if i was flipping a switch for yaw. Flight stick at neutral resulted in the tie nose diving in a left roll continuously with no input forcing a high back and right deflection to attempt to fly what would be called a "trimmed" configuration. This makes the craft totally unflyable and impossible to dogfight where finesse of control is most important. It is clear there was no thought put into the flight stick set up. come on EA if NASA can figgure it out in the 70's and Microsoft in the 80's surely you can do this in the 2020's!
