HOTAS X does not function unless controller is on.

You can navigate dashboard and boot the game with HOTAS but when it asks you to sign in and press A for your gamertag it does not work. You have to switch on xbox one controller and leave it on for H...

@SithMetal71 Same on ps4. However turning the controller back on has no effect, requiring a full game restart.

Temp workaround is to turn off the powersave feature of the controller so it wont shut off after a few minutes of non use.
