How Do You Stay Alive Assaulting a Flagship?

Hi guys, just wondering have you successfully destroyed a Flagship without getting Fragged? Most of the times in Fleet Battle Vs AI my team mates and myself would get fragged by the Star Destroyer or MC75 trying to deal as much damage as possible.

What have experienced players found that can be taught to New Players and other Experienced Players.

@Reposter I have to agree with you, while I've been able to damage the Capital ships without dying, it's not anywhere as effective as a kamikaze ram.
  • If you have not used it yet, test the rocket turret (Anti-Material Rocket Turret).

It is really good against the capital ship.

    Almost OP in my opinion.

You don't need to be eliminated in close range.

But use the support ship. 🙂

@Sati_Sati I just tried this, you're quite right, holy crap. Using an Interceptor/A Wing with rockets is extremely effective.
  • @Reposter Im firmly believing, if you are talking about approaching a flag ship alone while not offensive play round causes the you to selfdistruct under one shot impact of a single laser canon fire... Im actually sure you dont actually need to be hit, but just fired at. Its a horrid measure to keep hail mary attackers form sneaking in during a defense round. I get the fix measure as its a simple fix, but as a gamer its a very old stale underhanded fix, as a better function would be to up the power of the canons and slow their charge up time and cooldowns, This way it relies on smaller missiles and small faster turret fire to fend off attackers. This way any fighters alone would be attacked by all of multiple fire maze of opposition that would leave one fighters scattered across the windshield. So, if you can do this while not leaving your fleet open for destruction and make a good attack, you deserve the win.
