I can't use a PS4 controller with the Origin version of the game?

When I plug in my PS4 controller the game registers that a controller has been plugged in but it formats it to flight stick controls and I do not know of a way to fix the issue. In the Keybinds section of the settings it shows a controller section which means the game has controller support it just can't seem to register the difference between, A flight stick and a normal Dual shock 4 controller.

If anyone knows a fix to my issue I would be grateful if you could respond to this post.

    I saw that you posted in a thread I made. To reiterate: I can play fine with the DualShock controller, except that I get Xbox icons instead of PS4 ones.

    Are you using any software that makes Windows think your PS4 controller is actually an Xbox controller? DS4Windows, for example, or Steam itself if you have DualShock support enabled in the settings. In my case the game accepted the controller fine (though without correct button icons), so you might want to turn those settings off;

  • I can't get it to work at all. I have tried to run it through steam and it opens eventually but it still doesn't seem to work, it just registers as a flight stick. In answer to you're question no I am not using any 3rd party software like DS4Windows.
