The reason of the those changes were that a lot of players didn't like a couple of things being way overpowered in this game. Just scroll down to find a topic about people using the bowcaster and jumpack + bounty hunter to get kill after kill, same with the DL44 being way too OP. I didn't use the bowcaster but i used the homing shot a lot but that's off my list now since you need to be closer to the target and it takes too long to lock on. Time for a different approach.
I'm sure they will tweak some things for the better but at the moment it's a different game. Just enjoy the new things, like playing certain game modes like Heroes vs Villains on a new map and the like. Pulse shot still seems OP by the way, maybe take that as one of your weapons. Just give everything a go but no need to quit at this point 😉
- I have a kill death of 1.63 I had just gotten into the bowcaster jump pack combo with the dl44 I had to admit is was a little redicoulus but to make the bowcaster obselete takes a aspect of the game away
I understand tweaking, but when you take the 44 and it over heats after 3 shots, and it takes forever and a day to shot it...I don't know...I'm OK if they scale down the fighting power but they totally junked the gun now!!!

- Yes I was that guy who used a jump pack plus a bowcaster plus the dl44 often. Sometimes it was to easy but it was fun and thats the point right. Maybe im being selfish and all the storm troopers i sent flying backwards wasnt fun for them. But it took time to charge and the range wasnt to long so there were already drawbacks. Itwas a great combo and many people used it. It's not unfair if it's open to all. I could see a slight reduction in power of both the guns but to nerf em is like taking them away completly. I do still use the dl44 it kinda helps with the accuracy so I still get off with it. But maybe a reduction to 34 damage so three bolts do the trick? I'm just saying I'm pretty hot about taking away my favorite weapon.
I don't think they really care about the paying customers for this game. Maybe it helps the hackers out better now since it is harder to kill them. Hmmmm... I am pointing all the dudes here for this one.
