Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to Ilum after breaking your lightsaber's kyber crystal on Dathomir, then to the room with 2 probe droids and a locked chest (shown in attached image). Force pull a probe droid to you then throw it against a wall and immediately try attacking with your lightsaber.
What happens when the bug occurs? Playing on my master mode file, I arrived on Ilum as part of the story quest after your lightsaber is rendered unusable due to events on Dathomir. In the room with 2 probe droids and a single loot chest that requires slicing, I force-grabbed and then threw one of the probes and instinctively clicked the attack button. My lightsaber, while still strapped to my side, ignited; but only the second blade. I couldn't attack or stow away my lightsaber, and while I ran around the blade persisted, clipping through my character model and the ground. When I tried to slice the locked chest, I simply froze for the duration of the animation and didn't get the item inside. I then tried to jump across a nearby gap and failed the jump, which resulted in the lightsaber deactivating and my character slowly descending along the side of a wall, as if sliding down it. After about 20 seconds of slow-falling, I stood on thin air and opened an invisible chest, receiving an item. Then I managed to finally fall down the gap completely so as to reset my character state.
What do you expect to see? None of what happened.
