Im done playing Fleet Battles

Question

I’m done with this. I’m lvl 30 and all day I’ve been trying to get ranked, and every single game players leave during the match. 3 Vs 5 is no fun. Dying is no fun. Losing all day long is no fun.

So I try to play vs AI and I sit and wait, because nobody is playing. It times out, and I try again. I do that 3 times and then fall back on Fleet Battles, and the same thing, people leave, I lose and I want to throw the controller through the TV.

WTH?! This is supposed it be fun, EA. If people leave a match more that 3 times, don’t allow them in anymore until an hour or something. This is just stupid.

Maybe I’ll be back in a month once EA gets their stuff together.

Honestly- be happy if people leave and the match ain't scored. Getting paired with 4 morrons, thus switching roles just to prevent and ez enemy victory after 2 mins and being the only reason to make them at least struggle for 20 mins, yet losing MMR for the loss is even worse.

Yeah, leavers suck and should burn in gamer's hell forever, but stupid matchmaking mechanics are even worse.

@dorpond2 Deft need to fix the players leaving issue. Should be cumulative punishment on exponential sliding scale.

Levels:
1 drop - No penalty
2 drops in a row - cannot play online for 5 minutes
3 drops in a row = 15 minutes
4 drops in a row = 60 minutes
5 drops in a row = 4 hrs
6 drops in a row = 24 hrs

This would obviously exclude EA server connection issues and/or where the player successfully rejoins the match.

Haven't been able to get rank in awhile because of people leaving matches.&nbsp; Just doing dogfights and beating SP on ace difficulty.&nbsp;&nbsp;
