Have you a firewall on your PC? If so this could be the problem, disable it and try to connect to a server again.
If that's not the problem, have a look in the troubleshoot guide here are more solutions to try out.

I don't have any firewall nor is this a connection issue. The problem is with the matchmaking system, which is terrible.
With all other online multiplayer games that I play I have no problems like this.
