in star wars battlefront the game on ps4 the star cards activate themselves

In star wars battlefront for ps4 the star cards activate themselves which is annoying especially if your using a jump pack. It can kill you if your using thermal detonators because of the explosions ...

I figured it out, I think. Go to settings, controls. There's a setting called touch pad gestures, it allows you to use the touch pad to activate star cards. We're probably accidentally touching the pad and setting off our star cards.
