Can others confirm if rolling back vid drivers helped?
I was able to play Squadron yesterday just fine, Updated Nvidia drivers last night and today I get the same error reported in this thread.
Ran a repair on the game without any luck. Will try a reboot then roll back vid drivers (pita...) What the crap does the video driver have to do with whatever the licensing error is?
Not cool Epic/Origin..
Reboot, no change.
Turned off firewall, no change.
Rolled back Nvidia drivers to 12/3 ver, no change.
I fought with this for hours and finally gave up, and rolled back to a backup prior to the issue.... It has been fine ever since (knocks on wood)... Sorry I don't have any other solution to share.
