That's not really wall running in TR, it's grapple swinging, and it's look and mechanic is completely different. In grapple swinging it's a back and forth momentum thing. It's also critical what height you swing at and on certain swings where you have to jump behind to a ledge, the timing is critical.
JFO's platforming in general is very tame compared to that of TR, especially TR Anniversary, where there are many difficult places to platform with timed apparatuses involved, as well as flying creatures to deal with.
The combat is also very different. Most combat in TR is pretty arcade, even lining up QTE circles with slow mo involved. JFO on the other hand has very free flowing combat, especially if you don't use target lock.
Basically any similarities are minute compared to the many ways the games are very different.
