I am very exited for this. I loved XWing and Tie Fighter back in the day. A modern day remake is sorely missed.
Has there been any hints at potential DLC etc? I would love to have some classic missions, like Death Star trench run, a map with Super Star Destroyer, and whatever else can be trown our way.
I also hope it will have enough configurable options and potential expansion for single player mode as well.

@Phantomworks. I really hope so as well! If this game takes off I hope the devs support the heck out of this game with updates/content.
For now I understand not commiting to anything yet due to wanting to see the response from fans. But hopefully more modes/missions and maps down the line would be great.
More iconic ships like the Tie Defender or B-Wing added down the line. Maybe missions scenarios can be added like the old Tie Fighter missions. One can hope.
EA, we want full scale game - More players per match, more fighters, more maps and clans. And we want to pay more for that !!!!
