Issues after Outer Rim update (PC)

The first thing I noticed is that the update was announced to be 8GB but the update I received was 5.4GB.

After this, I checked for another update but didn't find one.

When I start up the game, instead of the normal splash screens, I get a blank black screen that won't continue until I hit Enter and then it goes to the white attract mode screen.

After this, I have the updated multiplayer menu and all of the new content showing but run into another issue; when I try to start a game using the new content, I get the loading screen text but no images and no loading activity and the game locks up.

Is anyone else having these problems?

    Same issue and no repairing the game does not help. it did the last update but not this time ☹️

    I tried a repair with no change.

    I rebooted my machine and it didn't work either.  After about 2 hours it miraculously started working properly on it's own.  No clue what happened and didn't do anything else during that tie period.
