Jedi fallen order crashes on pc

Jedi fallen order will freeze and then crash after a few minutes. I’ve updated the drivers, updated windows, reinstalled the game, repaired the game and it still does not work

  • @EA_Cade It works now, I checked for a driver update and it said an update was available, which is weird because I’ve had this problem for a while and there was never an update until today

@jholt5638 I had the same issue today! after some fiddling I discovered the solution. first locate the game shortcat in your desktop, then right click it with your mouse and click on properties, then go to compatibility tab and make sure the run as administrator is checked and lastly enable high DPI ( the button right at the end of the tab) and select system in the drop down menu, and the hit ok and again ok and you are done!

Even after that and all of the other aforementioned tips, I am still having this same crashing issue with that same exact error code. I feel helpless lol. I finished the main story in the game last time I played (5 days ago) and now I'm experiencing this crashing/black loading screen issue today. I feel like I've done everything to try and troubleshoot. In regards to updating graphics drivers, Nvidia GeForce Experience says I'm all up to date on drivers. If anyone can help me out that would be greatly appreciated. I bought this game on Steam btw.

Yea I am in 2022 now and I played the game around 17 hours, and I was even playing it earlier today, but now I got the same issue as you and I am unsure why no community manager or anyone else found a way to solve it since it is still a thing after such a long time. I have already made the steps that got mention but it didn't worked and I am unsure what else I should do to fix it. Would be great when the EA team take a look into that problem. I did add my dxdiag file below.

I'm closing this thread to stop it from being necroed.

If you have any issues with Star Wars: Jedi - Fallen Order please make a new topic about your problems and what kind of steps you have tried to solve them.

@Krymelt  can you try a clean boot to see if any programs are messing with Star Wars: Jedi - Fallen Order and turn off any overlay programs, such as Discord or Nvidia experience.

Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?
