This game is very poorly optimized, The Stutter and crashes doesn't make it good at all. I understand it constantly loading new zones, which is why I installed it on a SSD, nothing changed so far.

Kashyyyk is the most demanding on my system, but I really don't have any problems. There's an occasional stutter when loading new zones, but there's a few settings you can change on your PC to make the frame rates a little better. They definitely have applied some fixes, but there weren't any performance patches after the first few weeks of playing.
kashyyyk is the most problematic planet of the game for me at least, lots of fps drops, very poor performance some stutter here and there when loading stuff.
and i installed it on my SSD as well so.
Just played Kashyyyk today. Had stutters that lasted as long as 5 seconds during cinematics and the landing cutscene. Sick of these unoptimized ports. And EA's already working on a sequel without patching these issues.
PC specs: i5 4460, GTX 1070ti, 16 GB DDR3 RAM
The scene right after the walker intro is super janky.

I've noticed this too, but only within the past month. I even reinstalled windows this week, reinstalled this game, and it's still there. It's a microstutter every few secionds. It's only during the cutscene, but it's super annoying.
Loading is also really awkward in the elevators by the holding cells when you go between the first battle and the path to the Shadowlands. I'd understand but the different areas on Zeffo look better and are smoother.
What's amazing is about 8 months on from these messages, EA has still not fixed that stutter at that exact point with the cutscenes.
- @richc85 I just played it in PS4 almost after a year of your post, and the cinematic just breaks every 3 seconds.
2023 y el problema sigue sin arreglarse 😒
