I've seen it a few times now, it clever something you don't pick up on because you are dead, but i then have watched the player jump xbow jump xbow over and over, it got me to thinking there would be the same thing for scan pulse so you have scan pulse all the time just like a wall hack, keep an eye out you will see what i mean
How is it a hack if it's available to everyone? It costs what, 7000 credits to get the Bounty Hunter trait? You can unlock it, equip it, and be as powerful as everyone else. I am simply seeing people complain about how "OP" it is because someone else is better at a video game than the complainer is. It's a game folks, it's supposed to be fun. If you don't have fun playing it, maybe try another game mode or a different game out. It just seems silly to * the abilities of a player with skill because someone isn't as good as the other guy. You should just enjoy the fact that the guy who's good at the game probably spent hours perfecting the jumpcaster that he could have been doing other "real life" things doing, like chasing tail and other various debaucheries. Seriously, there are bigger things in this game to complain about than a designed feature working properly. For instance, snowspeeders randomly exploding in midair and hooking you up with a suicide. "Playing the Objective" trophy not working properly. How about that weird thing that sometimes if you hook a walker on Tatooine, the snowspeeder will fly straight into the other walker during your passes. How about when you're playing in a party of people, and you have one assigned as your partner, they keep getting removed as your partner and some random Joe Schmoe becomes your partner and it screws you. How about we focus on complaining about the absolutely broken stuff first?
I just had a session and got killed a couple of times by jump pack/bowcaster people. It's annoying but then again, i get kills with my homing shots. Like someone else said, go with the flow: the game mechanics. I'm sure they will tweak the game with the upcoming patch later this month. I didn't play the beta but from what i've read at first the barrage shot was too OP, they then made it less OP. Same with impact grenades and when i'm not mistaken the pulse cannon as well. We will see 🤔

Before I stopped playing, I also noticed that some of these guys were jumping around like frogs. I understand they may have the refresh skill, but that only goes so long and too keep jumping across the map after starting the game is a little ridiculous. Bow Casters are a joke too. Their kill range is too wide. I can stand to the side, not be aimed at and still get killed. Too much.
