Lag issues since recent update (PC: Star Wars Battlefront)
I had lag and have been pulling my hair out since but now I have a solution and want to share it with all so you can start enjoying what is probably EA's best game ever released. I must be quick as map is loading…
Lag has been preventing me play the bigger maps and it's due to my Nvidia GFX card drivers. To resolve the issue do the following:
Go to "device manager",
click "display adaptors",
double click your listed GFX card,
select "driver" tab,
and click "roll back driver"
That will downgrade your GFX drivers to the previous driver which should allow your game to work again. I use a Nvidia GTX 690 which is updated via GeForce Experience and the issue driver was version 359.06 but now I'm back on 359.00 and it works fine!
